On May 18, 2022, the governor of Nakhon Si Thammarat province and team visited Walailak University for looking at important work performances of the University. The university executives, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Surin Maisrikrod, Acting Vice-President, gave a warm welcome and report to the governor. The event was held at the Technology and Innovation building, Walailak University.
The important performances presented to the governor and team were from Center of Excellence in Innovation on Essential Oil by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Narumon Matan, Smart Farming, and Center of Excellence for Ecoinformatics by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Krisnadej Charoensuthasinee, Hemp research development by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Potjamarn Suraninpong, Center Of Excellence in Wood Science And Engineering by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nirandorn Matan, Plant Genetic Conservation Project by Asst. Prof. Dr. Rungrawee Jitpakdee.
