The ceremony was held at the Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Administrative Organization Theater, presided over by Mr. Somchai Leelanuch, the Governor of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. Heads of government agencies, civil servants, judges, prosecutors, military personnel, police, state enterprise employees, and mass organizations also attended the ceremony.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-14006 gallery-columns-1 gallery-size-large'><figure class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<div class='gallery-icon landscape'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/dcg.wu.ac.th\/?attachment_id=14007'><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1566\" height=\"1044\" src=\"https:\/\/dcg.wu.ac.th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/S__22175948_0-1.jpg\" class=\"attachment-large size-large\" alt=\"King Naresuan\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dcg.wu.ac.th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/S__22175948_0-1.jpg 1566w, https:\/\/dcg.wu.ac.th\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/S__22175948_0-1-1536x1024.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1566px) 100vw, 1566px\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p data-sourcepos=\"7:1-7:444\">On this occasion, the president of the ceremony laid a wreath and delivered a royal eulogy in front of the portrait of King Naresuan the Great to honor and commemorate the great kindness of King Naresuan the Great, who possessed exceptional abilities, courage, and decisiveness in driving out enemy invaders throughout his life to establish the independence of the Thai nation. He was a great and courageous warrior king who restored Thailand&#8217;s independence after the fall of Ayutthaya, helped salvage the nation&#8217;s sovereignty, upheld Thai identity, and protected the land from enemy threats for the freedom of the Thai people. He ascended the throne on July 29, 1590, and reigned for a total of 15 years.
