On Monday, November 18, 2024, representatives from Walailak University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Mongkol Therananont, visited to congratulate Mr. Ekachai Suntorn on his appointment as the new Governor of Nakhon Si Thammarat. The delegation, which included Ms. Sopida Pattanthong, Head of Administration and Secretariat, and Mr. Piyawatch Kong-in, Head of Procurement, extended their warm wishes at the Governor’s residence in Mueang District, Nakhon Si Thammarat.
This visit underscores the strong relationship between Walailak University and government agencies in the region, particularly in Thasala District where the university has been actively involved in community development. The congratulatory visit serves to boost the morale of the staff and related agencies and elevates the partnership between the university and the government to a new level.
