On July 8, 2025, at Meeting Room 1/3, Vitchit Srisa-an Building, Walailak University’s Digital Office and Postal Management Division, General Affairs and Secretariat, conducted a training session for its postal service operators and system administrators. The training focused on the “Electronic Postal Service (ePostal)”, a new system designed to enhance the efficiency of internal mail management within the university, aligning with its digital and environmental sustainability policies.
The ePostal system was developed with the core objectives of reducing the steps and time involved in sorting and delivering mail to various university departments. This not only simplifies operations for staff but also streamlines service requests for users. Furthermore, it promises substantial reductions in operational costs, including significant savings on paper and man-hours. Crucially, ePostal also aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, actively supporting the university’s green campus initiatives. This comprehensive preparation ensures a smooth rollout, with the system officially launching on July 14, 2025.
In addition to the training, discussions have been held to prepare for presenting ePostal as a key innovation of the General Affairs and Secretariat Division for the 2025 fiscal year. This presentation will take place at the WU Innovation 2025 event, scheduled from August 25-27, 2025. This initiative underscores Walailak University’s strong commitment to driving organizational progress through continuous innovation and digital technology.
