On August 12, 2025, Walailak University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Suthanya Duang-in, Assistant to the President, along with executives and staff from the School of Public Health, the School of Nursing, and the Scientific and Technological Instruments Center, participated in the royal tribute ceremony. The event included placing floral trays and lighting candles to honor Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother on the auspicious occasion of her 93rd birthday. The ceremony took place at Sanam Na Muang in Mueang District, Nakhon Si Thammarat.
Mr. Somchai Leelanoy, the Governor of Nakhon Si Thammarat, presided over the ceremony, laying the floral wreath and reading a tribute in honor of the Queen. He was joined by heads of government agencies, military and police officials, various associations, students, and citizens of Nakhon Si Thammarat, all united in their profound gratitude for her boundless kindness and compassion for the people, who regard her as the “Mother of the Land.”
On the same occasion, Assistant Professor Dr. Pattarin Supakorn, Acting Dean of the International College, along with executives, staff, and students from the International College and the Center for Academic Services, participated in a similar ceremony at the Tha Sala District Hall. They were joined by government officials and local residents of Tha Sala District, all of whom collectively expressed their loyalty and devotion on this significant day.
