On September 4, 2025, Walailak University held a “Grateful Tribute” ceremony for its personnel retiring in the fiscal year 2025. The event was organized to express gratitude and honor the valuable contributions they have made to the university and society. The ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Charan Boonkan, Vice President of Walailak University, at the Huataphan Meeting Room, Walailak University Hospital.
Associate Professor Dr. Charan Boonkan stated that every member of the staff is a valuable resource and has been a driving force behind the university’s progress. For the 2025 fiscal year, a total of 13 personnel have retired, and 7 of them attended the event, including:
- Mr. Paradorn Jeenchawna from the Division of Student Affairs
- Mr. Suban Kumad from the Botanical Park
- Mrs. Wannee Muanpetch from the Central Services Division
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Jannetr Ponpetch from the School of Nursing
- Asst. Prof. Dr. Wittaya Arporn from the School of Political Science and Public Administration
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Weeranuch Nisphathorn from the School of Science
- Mrs. Sumalee Saetan from Walailak University Hospital
In addition, the Vice President also thanked all the retiring personnel for their knowledge, abilities, sacrifice, dedication, integrity, perseverance, and responsibility. Their contributions have helped advance the university and brought pride to the education sector and the community. The Vice President noted that their success has served as a role model and an inspiration for the younger generation. In closing, he wished everyone good health, happiness in their retirement, and warm, valuable time with their families.
Personnel from the Division of Correspondence and General Affairs also presented souvenirs to the retiring professional staff.
