On September 18, 2025, the Walailak University Bangkok Coordination Office extended a warm welcome to an executive delegation, faculty, and staff from Mahasarakham University. The visit was part of a study tour and knowledge exchange on operational management, service provision, and organizational administration.
The delegation was led by Assistant Professor Poldej Chaowarat, Dean of the Graduate School at Mahasarakham University. Ms. Sophida Phatthong, Head of the Administration and Correspondence Division at Walailak University, and her staff greeted the visitors.
During the visit, the Mahasarakham University delegation received a comprehensive briefing on Walailak University’s operations, including the key roles and responsibilities of its coordination office. The session, which also covered organizational development guidelines, was conducted via Zoom Meeting to facilitate a smooth exchange of information and suggestions for future work development. The delegation also had the opportunity to tour the office’s facilities to gain practical insights for their own university’s future development.
Assistant Professor Poldej Chaowarat praised Walailak University’s progress under the leadership of Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University. He specifically highlighted the university’s physical development, which has earned it a reputation for beautiful grounds, as well as its outstanding academic achievements.
