On November 6, 2025, the Head of Administration and Protocol joined the WALAILAK MOVING FORWARD (LIVE) broadcast to announce the organization of the 51st Thailand University Games, Southern Regional Qualifiers (Walailak Games), scheduled to take place between November 8 and 13, 2025. Ten universities from the Southern region will participate in this competition.
In their capacity as the official in charge of the welcoming reception, the Head of Administration and Protocol stated that the event would be held in a more modest and simple manner to reflect the current period of mourning, and to show respect for the immense kindness of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.
Despite the adjusted format, the event aims to maintain the spirit of unity and sportsmanship among the athletes. The food served at the reception will prominently feature unique, signature dishes from Nakhon Si Thammarat province.
