On November 7, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Bundit Unyong, Acting Associate Dean of the School of Science, together with personnel from Walailak University, participated in the Panorasomawan (15th-day) Merit-Making Ceremony in dedication to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.
Mr. Somchai Leelhanoy, the Governor of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, presided over the laypeople’s segment of the ceremony. The event was attended by officials from the judiciary, military, police, civil service, and citizens of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, held at Sala 100 Pi, Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.
On the same occasion, Assistant Professor Dr. Amornsak Sawasdee, Director of the Center for Academic Services, along with university personnel, attended the Panorasomawan (15th-day) Merit-Making Ceremony dedicated to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother in Tha Sala District.
Mr. Prasong Chanhwoo, the Chief District Officer of Tha Sala, presided over this ceremony, which was joined by heads of government agencies, state enterprises, local administrative organization executives, educational institution executives, Tha Sala District Clerk, sub-district headmen, village headmen, and citizens of Tha Sala District at Wat Senaram, Moo 1, Tha Sala Sub-District Municipality, Tha Sala District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.
The ceremony also saw Phra Kru Sunthorn Chetiyanukul, Assistant Abbot of the Royal Monastery Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan (Special Class), overseeing Wat Sri Thep Naruemit, Bang Khan District, as the monastic president. Additionally, Phra Sri Watcharanath Muni, Abbot of Wat Khok Kathin, Thung Song District, delivered a sermon.
