Today (December 2, 2025), Mrs. Sophida Phatthong, Head of the Administration and Correspondence Division, and Ms. Praphai Karnchanaichai, Head of the Digital Office and Postal Management Division, held a meeting with representatives from the Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Post Office and the Thasala District Post Office. The meeting took place at the Office of the Administration and Correspondence Division, within the Professor Dr. Vijit Srisa-arn Building.
The primary objective of the discussion was to establish joint measures and protocols for improving the entire process of postal document receipt and delivery that occurs within the university premises.
The attendees reviewed and sought to understand the origin of the issues, which arose following recent changes in the university’s internal postal document system or procedures. These changes have directly impacted operational efficiency and service quality, leading specifically to delays and problems in receiving crucial documents and subsequently generating complaints from various personnel and departments across the university. These problems have affected the agility of administrative management and internal communication.
To promptly resolve the ongoing issues and enhance service quality, the Administration and Correspondence Division, as the main responsible unit, initiated this joint meeting with Thailand Post. The goal is to agree upon practical measures and guidelines. It is anticipated that the outcome of this meeting will lead to:
-
A clearer definition of document pick-up and delivery points.
-
The establishment of more efficient and faster mechanisms for coordination and document tracking.
Resolving this matter is considered an urgent priority to ensure that all transactions involving postal documents within the university fully meet the needs of the personnel.
