Head of Corresspondence and General Affairs Follows Up on Post Office Operations After Joint Problem-Solving Discussion

Today (December 3, 2025) – Ms. Sophida Pattong, Head of the Administration and Secretariat Division, visited the Thai Post Company Limited, Walailak University Sub-branch at Thaburi Building, to continuously monitor its operations. This follow-up comes after a meeting and discussion with the Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Postmaster and the Head of the Tha Sala Post Office, during which an agreement was made to resolve the issue of mail and parcel delivery services for personnel within the Walailak University area.

The agreement stipulated that delivery should be made directly to the specific unit indicated on the envelope, which commenced on December 2, 2025.

During today’s visit, it was found that a portion of the mail could not be delivered and recipients had to contact the office to pick it up themselves. This mail included items with unclear addressing (lacking specific internal unit names within the University) and potentially mail for entrepreneurs using the Walailak University address.

In cases where the addressing is unclear, the Administration and Secretariat Division kindly requests cooperation to clearly state the unit’s address and building details on the envelope to ensure Thai Post can deliver it correctly.

The Administration and Secretariat Division operates under the vision: “Prioritizing University Benefits, Satisfying Users with Services, and Ensuring Happy Employees.”
