On June 3, 2026, Walailak University representatives participated in the Royal Tribute and Loyal Address Ceremonies held in honor of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana on the auspicious occasion of her birthday anniversary.
The university delegation was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Patnarin Suphakorn, Director of the Center for International Affairs, together with university personnel. They joined the ceremony alongside Mr. Somchai Leelanoi, Governor of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, as well as government officials, members of the judiciary, military officers, police personnel, representatives from state enterprises, private organizations, and members of the public.
On the same occasion, Assistant Professor Jintana Unhawittaya, Head of the Legal Affairs Division, together with university staff and students, participated in a similar ceremony presided over by Mr. Prasong Janyu, Chief District Officer of Tha Sala District. The event was held at Tha Sala District Auditorium, Tha Sala Subdistrict, Tha Sala District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.
Earlier that morning, Associate Professor Dr. Urai Jareprapa, Vice President for Medical Center and Asset Management, along with university personnel, joined a merit-making and alms-giving ceremony dedicated to Her Majesty the Queen. The event was organized as part of the celebrations marking the auspicious fourth cycle (48th birthday anniversary) of Her Majesty Queen Suthida on June 3, 2026, at Tha Sala District Auditorium.
The participation of Walailak University executives, staff, and students reflected their loyalty and united commitment in honoring Her Majesty the Queen and preserving Thailand’s cherished royal traditions.
