Division of Correspondence and General Affairs Presents “Smart Hospitality and Expense Management System” at WU Innovation SDGs plus 2026

On 27 August 2026, the Division of Correspondence and General Affairs of Walailak University joined in supporting and cheering on Ms. Panyawee as she presented the innovative project titled “Smart Hospitality and Expense Management System”, an intelligent automated system designed to manage hospitality services and expense reporting, at WU Innovation SDGs plus 2026. The presentation was held at Phattharathammaporn Room, Medical Center Hospital, Walailak University.

The innovative project aims to improve the efficiency of hospitality management and expense reporting by integrating technology into the work process. The system helps reduce operational procedures and processing time, supports systematic data management, and enhances the accuracy and accessibility of expense information. It also enables information to be effectively used for operational monitoring and management, contributing to the modernization and digital transformation of administrative processes.

The Division of Correspondence and General Affairs also joined together in encouraging and supporting the presenter, reflecting the unit’s commitment to promoting innovation and continuously applying new ideas and technologies to improve work processes, enhance service quality, and increase operational efficiency. WU Innovation SDGs plus 2026 was organized by the Human Resources and Organization Section as a platform for presenting innovations and work process development initiatives by internal units of Walailak University for the 2026 fiscal year. The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University, and was attended by university executives and personnel from 46 internal centers, institutes, and units.

WU Innovation Day has been organized continuously for the fourth consecutive year. In 2026, the event was held from 25 to 27 August under the theme “SDGs plus”, emphasizing the Sustainable Development Goals. The event provided a platform for university personnel to demonstrate their potential in creating innovations and improving work processes, with the aim of reducing procedures, saving time, optimizing resource utilization, and improving budget efficiency. The participation of the Administration and Correspondence Section in this event reflects its strong commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and applying creative solutions to improve operational processes. These efforts contribute to enhanced service quality, more efficient administration, and the sustainable development of Walailak University as a modern and innovative organization.
