On January 8, 2025, Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University, along with Associate Professor Dr. Suwit Wuttisuthamethawi, Vice President, presented a bouquet of flowers to congratulate Professor Dr. Thawatchai Suppadit, former Vice President of Walailak University, on the occasion of the Royal Command appointing him as President of Nakhon Phanom University, effective from December 28, 2024.
