On April 21, 2025, the General Affairs and Records Division, in collaboration with the Digital Technology Center, organized a digital skills development workshop for DOMS system administrators from various units. The workshop, titled “Electronic Book Creation Techniques in the DOMS System According to WU Regulations,” was held at the Computer Laboratory, Computer Building. A total of 161 participants attended, comprising both primary and secondary DOMS administrators from different departments. Assistant Professor Dr. Thimaporn Phetkaew, Acting Director of the Digital Technology Center, presided over the opening ceremony, and Ms. Sophida Phatthong, Head of the General Affairs and Records Division, delivered the welcoming remarks. Ms. Prapai Karnchanachai, Head of the Digital Office and Postal Management Section, and Ms. Phenprapha Khaokhiaw, Administrative Officer, served as the trainers.

The objective of this training was to build knowledge, understanding, and enhance skills in creating official electronic documents within the Digital Office Management System (DOMS) of Walailak University, ensuring speed, accuracy, and adherence to the university’s record management regulations. The training curriculum focused on content that participants could directly apply in their work and effectively transfer to personnel within their respective units. Standardized message creation for departmental services to target groups was also covered. An evaluation of the training was conducted to ensure that participants could efficiently apply the acquired skills in their work.

This workshop was organized under the Digital Skills Development Project for Personnel, as part of the government’s digital development plan for the 2025 fiscal year.
