On October 31, 2025, at 2:30 PM, Assistant Professor Dr. Padungsak Suksarmard, Vice President of Walailak University, representing the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, led the university executives, lecturers, and staff to participate in the funeral chanting (Abhidhamma) merit-making ceremony dedicated to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. The ceremony took place at the 1st floor, Sala 100 Pi Building, Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.
Representatives from the following units of Walailak University also joined the ceremony: Center for Library and Educational Materials, Institute for Research and Innovation Excellence Promotion, School of Education, and School of Management.
